This year’s St Patrick’s Day Parade in Hong Kong is set to be bigger, better and greener than ever. We’re welcoming lots of new groups, including many local schools and performers. Bring the family along to Tamar Park on March 12 and be sure to wear green.

The traditional starting signal for the Hong Kong St Patrick’s Day Parade is when St Patrick lights the eye of the dragon & lion. This year, St Patrick (Kenneth Li) will be joined by the Parade Chairman, Anthony Cheng for the ceremony before leading off around 40 groups led by the Wah Yan College Colour Party carrying the flags of Ireland’s Four Provinces & the National Flag. Following the Parade, many of the groups will perform at the stage area in Tamar Park along with Irishtown, a visiting Irish traditional music group.

Parade starts at 2pm from the Observation Wheel, Central Piers
Entertainment in Tamar Park from 2pm until 5pm
